A Wonderful Math Tool (for school and home)

Dear Parent,

I'm excited to let you know that we'll be using AdaptedMind Math, an online math site, in class. You can also use it for extra math practice at home.

AdaptedMind Math helps students master math skills at their own pace. It adapts to each child's strengths and weaknesses, so its curriculum is customized for each child. As students practice, they learn from helpful videos and earn fun badges.

With my teacher account, I can monitor their progress, whether they practice from in school or at home.

Practice at Home

I've created a username and password for your child. With it, they get access to AdaptedMind Home.

1. Go to: http://www.adaptedmind.com and click "Login" in the top right

2. Username: (first name)3F - for example, Bob3F

3. Password: bulldog

See Your Child's Progress

It's easy for you to stay in touch with your child's progress. You can see completed work and even help with missed problems. There is also an option to receive quick progress summaries by email. If you are interested in this, please see the form sent home in the OWL Folders on Wednesday or email me (tiara.ferrell@hallco.org) and I can provide that as well.

I wanted to pass this information to you so you can make the most of our access to this new program, which I really think will help students improve their math performance and fluency.
