Weekly Agenda for September 29

HOMEWORK AGENDA:

 - Students have done a wonderful job of stepping up to the increased challenges of 3rd grade, so this week, we'll take a break and let our brains relax a bit with some lighter homework.  If you find yourself with an itch to do more, practice on Adapted Mind or try out some of the links on my website!

 - Read for at least 20 minutes each night.

 - Study your Words for your test on Friday

REMINDERS:

 - We are super excited about our upcoming field trip to Fernbank on October 16!  Please remember that ALL PERMISSION FORMS AND PAYMENTS ARE DUE ON THURSDAY!  (If the $7 fee is a concern, please let me know.)  Chaperons will be announced sometime next week.

 - Students who want to earn an extra 5 classroom bucks can learn Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll by Tuesday, September 30 and say it for the class!

 - Students can earn an extra 2 bucks for parents who check out our class blog and find our new Word of the Week.  The class blog will be updated by Monday evening each week.  Last week's word was "Happy"!  My website address is http://tiaraferrell.wix.com/les3

 - We had our first Fun Friday Month celebration today!  Congratulations to Cayleigh, Dany, Ulissa, Rebekah, Stella, and Ashton!  Students who get a Fun Friday each week in October by 1) turning in their work on time, 2) reading at least 80 minutes each week, and 3) not losing any recess time will get to play on a bouncy house for our big October Fun Friday at the end of the month. It's a fresh slate starting tomorrow, so encourage your students to do their best!

ASK YOUR CHILD THIS WEEK
