Weekly Homework:

Read for 20 minutes and fill in book, total time, and parent signature on monthly agenda (Due on Friday)
Disguise the Turkey Family Project (Due on Friday)
Math Practice – Measurement (cm and volume) (Given on Wednesday - Due on Monday)
Practice on Adapted Mind (www.adaptedmind.com) at least twice this week
Check Edmodo (www.edmodo.com) to be sure you have no missing work and to read/write posts

Reminder:

We are using Edmodo to take our class beyond the walls of the classroom, but you can use it to check your child's work. Have your child log on and show you their Progress (click on the Progress icon).
We will be celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 20th. Children will be asked to invite one special person to our Gratitude Breakfast at 8:30am. (Details coming soon.) You are also welcome to eat lunch with your child 12:10pm on that day. Since both events are close together, you are welcome to join our class that day. If you do plan to stay, please let me know (though a quick note or email) so that I can plan accordingly! ^_^
There will be no school Thanksgiving Week (November 24 – 28). Enjoy this time with family!
As the Christmas holiday approaches, I wanted to give you a heads up for some upcoming holiday events full of cheer! We will be having our Holiday Movie Night and Ornament Event on Thursday, December 11th. We will have our class Christmas party on Friday, December 19th. Students will be out of school beginning Monday, December 22nd and will come back to school on Tuesday, January 6th.
The next PTO event will be hosted by the third grade on Thursday, December 4th. This is a wonderful group to be a part of and it will be a great performance! We hope to see you there!
The school will host a Career Guidance event during school hours with help from East Hall High School on Friday, December 9th.
