3rd Grade's First Field Trip!
Your child can participate in an exciting field trip to Fernbank Museum on Thursday, October 16th! We will be leaving the school at 8:20 and will return at 1:50. We are very excited about being able to visit exhibits that will teach us more about rocks, fossils, and Georgia habitats. We have prepared for this by studying rocks, minerals, and fossils, as well as other aligned Georgia Performance Standards.
Please indicate below if your child will be allowed to participate. School lunches can be provided to students if selected below. The cost of the field trip is $7. Students who cannot afford this should speak with their teachers. All permission forms and payments are due Thursday, October 2.
Chaperones are needed for this trip. The grade level will allow a total of 3 chaperones to attend for free (individuals chosen by a lottery). Any other parents who wish to attend may pay the $16 museum addmission fee. Unfortunately, chaperones are not allowed to ride on the bus.
