New Testing System
The Georgia Department of Education recently announced that it will implement a new test during the 2014-2015 school year that will replace both the CRCT and EOCT. This new test, called the Georiga Milestones, will be administered to students in grades 3 - 12.
Georgia Milestones will be aligned with the new state standards (CCGPS) and will include both multiple choice and open ended questions. By 2020, the test will be administered completely online (with exceptions based on IEPs). McGraw-Hill will develop the new test.
