Congratulations! You are almost high schoolers! As we begin the new year, there are a few expectations we hold as a classroom that I want to review.
1. Only be on your assigned computer.
2. Only work on class assignments while on a computer.
3. Listen during instruction. (Eyes on teacher; hands empty unless taking notes; mouths closed; feet still; body seated, facing the teacher.
4. Participate, answer, volunteer - it's how you learn.
5. Complete and turn in all assignments.
6. Read novels/work on projects for 10+ minutes every night.
7. Focus completely on class and classwork during class.
8. Ask for help or show the teacher your work sometimes as you work.
9. Fill out your agenda daily; check your agenda nightly.
These are specific expectations based on what was seen last semester to help everyone make better decisions this semester. The team expectations from the start of the year still apply as well!
Team Valiant Expectations
1. No personal conversations during group work.
2. When you enter the room, sit down immediately and check the board for your assignment.
3. Be prepared to begin class.
4. No talking during instruction.
5. In the hall, walk silently ono the right side in a straight line.
6. Use quiet group volume voices.
7. Only speak with people in your actual group.
8. Stay on task.
9. BE RESPECTFUL!
