Missing Work

So far this year, students have turned in three assignements.

1. Fact or Opinion Quiz (on Canvas)

Students also had a chance to re-take this quiz if they scored poorly. Students who were eligible for a re-take had instructions sent to their canvas emails.

2. Slip or Trip Essay (on paper)

Students were asked to gather evidence from an image and then present the evidence and rules (or explanations) to back up their theory of what occured.

3. Differentiated Assignment (on paper)

Students were divided into groups based on their Slip or Trip Essay. Two groups were given a similar image to analyze and asked to present evidence and rules to support their new theory. The third group analyzed two debate articles and began organizing information to support their own belief on the topic.

Some students are still missing one or more of these assignments. They have had an additional week to work on these assignments at school, but several are still incomplete. Toward the end of last week, these assignemtns were sent home so that students could complete them as homework and turn them in this week.
