Pre-Unit 1 Assignments Due

On Monday, students must have finished reading Bronx Masquerade and finished a 3-4 paragraph response that ties their opinions about a topic to the characters in the novel. Topic options included abuse, the purpose of school, stereotypes, the importance (or unimportance) of race, teen pregnancy, and something they are passionate about. Two drafts should be completed and turned in on Monday. There will also be a test over the book on Monday before we officially begin Unit 1.
